Department, faculty, and staff (student workers) should enter through the back door of the IUP Post Office (dock area) for the following:
Picking Up
Departmental, faculty, and staff mail/packages from the IUP Post Office and print orders from the IUP Print Center.

Hours of operation for pickup are 8:00 a.m.–3:55 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

Packages and print jobs will require a signature by the person picking them up.

Designated person(s) picking up for the day are required to take all of the mail/packages the IUP Post Office has at that time.
- For multiple packages that are too heavy or too bulky to carry, carts are available to transport the items from the IUP Post Office to your office or department. Please return the carts as soon as you are finished, so they are available for others to use.
- You can also place a work order with Facilities to have them delivered to your location/department. Please allow adequate time if you choose this option.
Dropping Off
Departmental, faculty, and staff mail/packages for outgoing processing by the IUP Post Office.

Hours of operation for drop-off are 8:00 a.m.–2:15 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Outgoing mail is picked up at 2:30 p.m. daily by the main Indiana Post Office.

Items arriving after 2:15 p.m. will be processed the following business day.

Larger mailings: Please make arrangements to pick up trays in advance to place your mailings in, to be delivered to the IUP Post Office for processing. All material in a tray should go to the exact same destination to help expedite the process.

Larger envelopes must be sealed prior to arriving at the IUP Post Office. The meter seals all regular #10 envelopes while applying postage, but does not do so for larger envelopes.
