You need to know your address. 

  • Your mailing address is:
    • (Your Name) FIRST MIDDLE LAST (in case of a duplication of names)
      Crimson Hawks # (your four-digit box number)
      900 Maple Street
      Indiana PA  15705-5007
  • Your four-digit mailbox number can be found on “StarRez” with your Housing information.
  • Give the above address to your family, friends, bank, etc., so they have the correct address when mailing or sending something to you.

Students do NOT access their own mailboxes.

All mailboxes have been assigned beginning with box #2301 and up.

Retrieving Mail/Packages

  • Line up under the “LINE FORMS HERE” sign in the hall of the Post Office Lobby.
  • When it is your turn, present your photo ID (I-Card or driver’s license) to one of the IUP postal employees and give them your four-digit mailbox number. The employee will retrieve any mail/packages from your mailbox and give them to you. Package releases will require a signature.
  • Check your mailbox on a regular basis. When packages are processed, an email notice is sent to your IUP email account that a package has arrived. You should wait 30 minutes before coming to pick it up. No notices are sent for regular first class mail.

Sending Mail/Packages

  • Domestic letters, cards, and packages can be mailed from our facility via USPS. Cash, check (with driver’s license), and Crimson Cash are the only methods of payment. Debit or credit cards are not accepted at this location.
  • International letters, cards, and postcards can be mailed from our facility via USPS. International packages cannot be mailed through this facility. You will need to take such packages to the main Indiana Post Office, 47 South Street, Indiana, PA. Customs forms can be completed at this location, as well as the use of debit/credit cards.
  • Outgoing mail is picked up at 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (with the exception of holidays). No packages are accepted after this time.
