Post Office FAQ

The"CRIMSON HAWKS"designation tells the United States Postal Service that the recipient is a "resident student" at IUP living incampus operatedfacilities.

Your address is:

By around 11:00 a.m., most of the mail has been distributed into the student mailboxes.

For a limited time, the IUP Post Office will try to match the old resident hall address with your new mailbox number. If not found, the mail will be returned to sender.

Most mail sent to anyone contains CHANGE OF ADDRESS INFORMATION. You must return this form to sender with your new address information. Mailers also have customer service phone numbers that you can contact, or on-line change of address information sites.

To continue receiving your mail, you must do two things:

1. Provide your local USPS Post Office with a change of address form.
2. Provide theIUP Post Office with a change of address form.

If you continue to live in one of the IUP residence halls upon your return, remember all mail must be addressed with:

When an IUP residence hall student leaves IUP or decides to live off-campus while attending IUP, the mailbox issued to them will be terminated and mail will no longer be delivered to that address by the IUP Post Office.To receive mail off campusyou must do two things:

1. Provide your local USPS Post Office with a change of address form.
2. Provide theIUP Post Office with a change of address form.

This will ensure that mail addressed to your former IUP residence hall will be routed to your new address.
