Commuter Permits

Undergraduate students living outside the designated IUP boundary, but within 75 miles of IUP, are eligible for a commuter permit.

Commuter permits can be purchased through your Parking Portal Account yearly starting August 1. Commuter permits are valid through July 31 and must be renewed every year through your Parking Portal Account. Step-by-step instructions are available.

Students living within the designated IUP boundary who are not eligible for a commuter permit have access to the Indigo bus shuttle to get to campus. They can also utilize the pay-by-license plate spaces.

Any graduate student, as long as they are not living in IUP's residence halls, can obtain a commuter permit.
