  2. Register for orientation
  3. Access D2L
    • After you register for orientation, you will receive an email when you can access the HAWKS 100 course to complete placement testing
      • Math placement testing
      • English Guided Self-Placement survey
      • Foreign Language (for students with prior study, Seal of Biliteracy, required by major, or otherwise interested)

First-Year Student Orientation

  • 8:30–10:00 a.m. — Placement Testing (if not already completed)
  • 9:00–10:00 a.m. — Check-in
  • 10:00–10:45 a.m. — Welcome and Academic Expectations
  • 10:45–11:00 a.m. — ROTC
  • 11:00–11:40 a.m. — Financial Aid and Student Billing
  • 12:00–2:00 p.m. — Group Rotations
    • Building the IUP Community
    • Health Services
    • Housing and Dining
    • Credit Evaluation Overview
    • Lunch at North Dining
  • 2:00–2:30 p.m. — Next Steps and Welcome Week
  • 2:30–4:30 p.m. — Academic Advising
