Profile
Chris Clouser joined the IUP Libraries faculty in 2005. In the course of his career at IUP, he has served in the role of science librarian, helping students and faculty of the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and web librarian, handling design and content creation for the library website and web services.
In 2021, Clouser moved into the role of Collection Development and E-Resources librarian, and subsequently, in 2025, took on the role of Systems and Electronic Resources librarian. He is responsible for coordinating electronic resource acquisition, evaluation, and management for the IUP Libraries, working with his colleagues within the library and in the academic departments to ensure current, relevant, and accessible electronic collections. Clouser also manages and maintains the library’s integrated library system and various electronic services, and directs the activities of the STEAMSHOP Satellite makerspace located in the Stapleton Library building.
