Chris Clouser joined the IUP Libraries faculty in 2005 as the new science librarian, and in 2011 added the role of web librarian to his responsibilities. As science librarian, Clouser provides reference services, collection development, library instruction, and research support to the students and faculty of the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

In his work as web librarian, Clouser handles design and content creation for the library website; administration of the library's web services, including our research guides, Reference Chat, and Ask a Librarian Service; and the administration of the IUP Libraries' discovery search system.

In 2021, Clouser assumed the role of Collections Librarian in addition to his existing duties. He is responsible for coordinating collection development and electronic resources for the IUP Libraries, working with his colleagues within the library and in the academic departments to ensure current, relevant, and accessible print and electronic collections.
