Indiana University of Pennsylvania graduate programs utilize a student-centered classroom approach and encourage collaboration between faculty and students. IUP is a Carnegie Doctoral/Research university with over 2,000 graduate students and 73 graduate programs, including 14 doctoral programs.

Revision to Graduate Student Time Limitations Policy

Effective fall 2022, graduate students will now have more time to finish their degrees, with master's program students now having six years instead of five and doctoral students having eight instead of seven.

Graduate Admissions Virtual Spring Open House

The School of Graduate Studies and Research invites you to join us on Thursday, April 15, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for our Virtual Open House. Individuals will have the opportunity to learn about the admissions process, meet with department coordinators to discuss programs, and engage with other prospective students in Zoom breakout rooms.
