It's never too late to start thinking about next year: Consider submitting a proposal for the 2024 IUP Spring Methodology on Foreign Language Teaching to share with your colleagues what you do best in your foreign language classes.
Conference sessions may focus on any topic related to language pedagogy. Sessions should be non-language-specific and feature general strategies/approaches that can be incorporated into any foreign language classroom.
Language-specific examples may be used in the session.
Conference sessions are one hour in length. Proposals that include “hands-on” and interactive participation are strongly encouraged.
We offer an honorarium of $75 per session ($100 to be shared in the event of multiple presenters).
The cost of duplication of handouts is at the expense of the presenter(s)—we strongly encourage the use of electronic handouts, accessible by QR code or other electronic means. Since presenters are our guests at the conference, their registration and lunch fees are waived.
