Reminder: Staging Site Offline July 24–August 14

Please keep in mind the staging website will be offline July 24 to August 14. During this time, the Marketing and Communications team will update the website in anticipation of the launch of the new brand. The live site will still be online during this time; only web maintainers’ access to the staging site will be temporarily suspended.

Due to upgrades being performed on the servers for the CMS, staging will not be available starting at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 through midday Thursday, May 16.

On Wednesday, April 24, the Ektron CMS will be upgraded. To complete the upgrade, the staging server will not be available on Wednesday until 1:00 p.m. No website editing or approvals will be able to take place during that time.

If you've ever tried to use Facebook to share a page or a news post from your site and the image doesn’t show up, the culprit might be a space in the filename. Facebook will not recognize an image (or other file types) that contain a space, and therefore will not display it when you share.

Office 2007 Support Broken in Ektron

Files in any Office 2007 format (Word 2007, PowerPoint 2007, Excel 2007) do not work properly with Ektron. Until this issue is resolved, web maintaines will need to use one of several workarounds.
