This course is offered for those who are interested in becoming MPOETC certified police academy instructors. This course provides teaching techniques geared toward the typical police academy cadet. The only prerequisite to apply for this training is to be a current or retired law enforcement officer.
The training includes a mixture of classroom instructional time and practical exercises. The exercises will involve student presentations of various policy academy subject matter.

Fees and Payments:
The fee for this course is $350. Payment can be made with a credit card by visiting the Criminal Justice Training Center Marketplace. Under All Stores, click on Criminal Justice Training Center, and then click on the Basic Instructor Development Certification tab to pay your $350.
