Commencement Webcast

  • To promote safety during the coronavirus pandemic, the spring 2020 commencement ceremonies have been postponed to September 12 (and 13, if needed). A schedule of events for that weekend is expected to be available by mid-May. College and departmental ceremonies and other recognition events that typically coincide with commencement ceremonies will not take place that weekend.   • Commencement ceremony in Kovalchick Complex

    There will be free, live webcasts of the undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies on September 12, 2020.

      The webcasts can be viewed live on the university’s live stream YouTube channel. After the event, the video recorded during the live stream will be available to watch anytime. Each webcast will begin 15 minutes before the actual start of the ceremonies. 

      Undergraduate Commencement

      • Saturday, September 12
      • 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

      Graduate Commencement

      • Saturday, September 12
      • 5:00 p.m.

      How to View the Webcasts:

      1. Go to IUP’s live streaming site on YouTube.

      2. After arriving at the channel, the first event listed will say “live now.” Simply click on this to launch the viewer.

      For optimal viewing, do not have other applications running while viewing the webcast. High-speed Internet is also recommended.
