Graduating Students: RSVP for Commencement Ceremony(You’ll be able to register only if you’ve applied for the current semester graduation.)
Any students who RSVP’s on or after December 1, 2017, may not see their name appear in the ceremony program, as final drafts will be sent to print on this date. It is strongly advised that you RSVP before December 1 to ensure your name appears in the
Graduating students must report to the IUP Performing Arts Center by 8:30 a.m.
Individuals will be on site to direct graduates to these line-up locations.
Students who have completed a nondisclosure form with
the Registrar’s Office and whose records are marked as “confidential”
will not see their name in the Commencement program.
Immediately following the ceremony, President Driscoll will host a
reception honoring all graduates, families and guests in the Blue
Room in Sutton Hall.
A professional photographer will be on hand to distribute information about purchasing photographs.
If you have questions about whether or not you have met all degree requirements, please contact your graduate advisor immediately. Degrees are awarded by the School of Graduate Studies and Research, and diplomas will be mailed two to six weeks after grades are posted.
Caps, gowns, and announcements will be available to order at the Salute to
Graduates event on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at the Co-op Store, or during regular
business hours at the Co-op.
Custom regalia is available for doctoral students. Deadline to order is November 18, 2017. Orders can be placed by phone or in person at the Co-op Store.

There is predesignated special needs seating in Fisher Auditorium, and seating passes are not necessary. Special needs parking, with a handicapped permit or placard, is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Clark Hall lot.
