We accept sophomore transfer students, both students from IUP and from other schools.
Any student with fewer than 30 credit hours may apply as a transfer student.
A Few Details about Being a Transfer Student
- As a transfer, you will join the freshman Core cohort in the fall of your sophomore year.
- Core will count for some first-year courses most likely already completed at your present school or through AP testing (for example: Your introductory English, history, or fine arts courses are covered by Core). Transfer credits in these courses may count as free electives.
- The first-year Wallwork Hall residency requirement does not apply to transfers.
