The MVRC is asking the IUP community to show support for IUP's veterans and military members but submitting a picture with a thank you sign, by signing a thank you card, or by submitting a photo of family and friends who served or are currently serving.

At IUP, we have over 150 students who currently serve in the National Guard and reserves. A few IUP students have already been put on active duty orders. We should expect more to be called to active duty before this crisis is over.
IUP veterans and military-affiliated students: While the Military and Veterans Resource Center offices are closed during the coronavirus outbreak, Director Cory Shay is working remotely to continue providing you with support, address your concerns, and work with the VA on GI Bill benefits and certifications.
Faculty and staff are invited to 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. sessions on Monday, February 17 to hear updates from the Military and Veterans Resource Center. Topics will include recent changes to GI Bill benefits and the positive/negative impact those changes will have on IUP students.
