Textbook costs are soaring, and more and more college students are unable to afford them. Open Educational Resources have the potential to substantially lower the cost of education, give faculty more control over their instructional materials, and promote student success. This workshop will introduce participants to what OER materials are, how to locate high quality OER materials, and how and why your colleagues are using them. Please bring your laptop to this interactive session and join us to learn ways to implement components of OER or to begin a total OER conversion!
