Students invested in this program will work alongside nationally accredited faculty in their areas of expertise and within a cohort program with students from various disciplinary backgrounds and similar educational goals.
The Curriculum and Instruction program at IUP enables students to pursue their degree full-time or part-time from their choice of campuses and/or instructional modalities: Main campus with a Zoom from home option, or online with both synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
Main Campus

New students are admitted to main campus cohort during even-numbered years (e.g., 2024, 2026, 2028).

Offers domestic students and international students participating from their home country the option of joining via Zoom from home.

Required courses meet from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for five Saturdays.

Students may enroll prior to the start of the fall cohort and complete six credits of electives.

Qualifying students have the option of earning the Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction Certificate from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in conjunction with their studies.

International students on a visa studying in the US must apply for admission to main campus.
Online

New students are admitted to the online program during odd-numbered years (e.g., 2023, 2025, 2027).

The same faculty and courses as main campus.

Required courses meet from 8:00 a.m. to noon for three Saturdays in addition to asynchronous online instruction.

Students may enroll prior to the start of the of the cohort and complete six credits of electives.
