I would like to extend a sincere thank-you to everyone who participated in the April 10–13 Middle States Commission on Higher Education Site Team visit.
The conversations you had with our team members were undoubtedly the most crucial aspect of this process and will assist them in writing their final report and recommendations for our great institution.
Once the team has finalized its report, a copy will be sent to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. At its June meeting, the commission will make the final recommendation for IUP's reaffirmation of accreditation. Although we must wait until the end of June for official results, I know based on what I heard before the team left campus that this was a successful visit.
Again, I am very appreciative for our campus community's level of participation throughout the three years of this process. I also would like to extend my sincere thanks to members of the Steering Committee and subcommittees and to Steering Committee cochairs Hilliary Creely and Laura Delbrugge. Your commitment and hard work throughout this process is what has made it so successful and meaningful. Thank you for contributing to the future of IUP.
