Zoom is the university's supported online meeting tool. Zoom is the leader in modern enterprise video communications, with an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, chat, and webinars across mobile, desktop, and room systems.

Faculty/Staff: Using an IUP-issued machine?

This application can be installed with one click on IUP-issued machines using the Software Center.

This method of installing Zoom involves using the Download Client link. You can also install the Zoom app using the Sign in or Host buttons. These two methods will install the application on your device if it is not already installed.

Use the browser of your choice and enter the address http://iupvideo.zoom.us.

On the Download Center screen, click the Download Client button for Zoom Client for Meetings. This will download the Zoom client to your desktop. The Zoom client will be placed in your downloads folder.

The install file is displayed differently based on the browser you are using. For example, if you are using Google Chrome, the install file will appear in the lower left corner of the Chrome window. You would then run the installer by clicking on the up arrow next to ZoomInstaller.exe and select Open. This begins the install.

When the install is completed, a Zoom dialog box displays where you can Join a Meeting or Sign In. Click on Sign In.

Next, from the Sign In dialog box, click on Sign in with OSO.

On the next dialog box, you will need to enter just iupvideo in the text box. The rest of the company domain (zoom.us) is included to the right of the text box.You will next see theIUP Web Single Sign-On Loginbox. Enter your IUP computer account username and password.

A web page will then open, and you should see a pop-up window. Click on the Open Zoom button. Next, you will see the Zoom desktop client.
