Recruiters from over 100 organizations will be at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex during the IUP Spring All-Majors Career Fair, an industry-wide job, internship, and graduate school fair sponsored by the Career and Professional Development Center.

"This event allows students and alumni to explore part and full-time positions, internship options, graduate school alternatives, and opportunities to expand your professional network," said Bill Zimmerman, assistant director for Employer Engagement. "Organizations from many different sectors will be attending the fair, including those in healthcare, business, nonprofit/human services, government/law enforcement, and the sciences.

"Our Spring Career Fair provides students with an opportunity to explore employers and career opportunities that may interest them and other areas they may have never considered," Zimmerman continued. "Participating provides students with an opportunity for face-to-face contact with recruiters and a chance to polish their networking skills.  We encourage all students to sign up on Handshake for this event, so that they may explore what organizations will be at the fair and think about who they want to meet/interact with at the event.”

Preregistration for students and alumni is not required but is preferred, so that employers may reach out to candidates and vice-versa. Students and alumni are encouraged to dress in business or business casual attire, as well as bring several résumés with them. Representatives from the CPDC will also have part of the KCAC lobby set up for students to check their appearance, practice their elevator speech and their handshake, and take LinkedIn headshots using their own devices. Attendance vouchers will be available.
