Posted on 8/27/19 2:14 PM

The National Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cybersecurity Virtual Career Fair will take place on September 27, 2019. Based on data from previous years, students/alumni from CAE-designated institutions come from a variety of disciplines, including cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, math, physics, and project management, to name a few. In addition, previous data indicates participants come from all different levels of educational attainment looking for internships, part-time, temporary, and full time job placements.

Last year, over 1,200 job seekers attended the National CAE in Cybersecurity Virtual Career Fair, sponsored by CyberWatch West and the National Science Foundation. This year, with over 6,000 graduates seeking jobs in cybersecurity, the number of registrants is expected to grow, as institutions designated as CAEs by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security increased to 274 across the nation.

Are you looking for faculty? CAE-designated institutions can host a booth at the CAE Virtual Career Fair to look for the qualified faculty. Résumés will be available to employers hosting a booth before the career fair.

Participation as a CAE institution for hosting a booth or as a student/alumni in the Virtual Career Fair is free. Typical career fairs cost $100 or more to participate.

The vendor CAE is using for the career fair is 6Connex, the premier virtual career fair conferencing platform.
