IUP held the National Security Agency/National Science Foundation-sponsored GenCyber Summer 2022 Advanced camp virtually in June 2022. The camp addressed essential security concepts through hands-on activities, challenging projects, and guest lectures by leaders of industry.

Advanced Camp (Middle and High School Students)
Participation Advantages
- The camp was offered at no cost to participants.
- The camp was offered online so participants joined from the comfort of their homes using their own computers.
- Instructions and mentorship from IUP faculty and other security experts.
- Valuable knowledge and skills that prepares participants to know more about a very promising and growing career field.
- A small-sized computer (Raspberry Pi) kit was awarded to each participant.
