E-mail to Be Sent by Department Requesting Storage of Project Material

Send an e-mail to central-storeroom@iup.edu.

Please include the following information in the e-mail:

  1. Project name
  2. Project date information
    1. Expected delivery date to RSM, if available
    2. Project beginning date
    3. Project completion date
  3. Purchase order numbers of all orders involved
  4. Contact name, telephone, e-mail of responsible party
  5. Disposition and/or delivery date include one of the following:
    1. Delivery once all material has arrived
    2. Delivery on a certain date
    3. Delivery when contacted by: (include contact's information)
  6. Delivery location: building, room, attention

Additional Information

When items are received at RSM, the requesting department will be required to receive and confirm for materials received.

Delivery arrangements of project material will be made by Receiving/Central Storeroom according to the disposition/delivery date provided on initial e-mail to the project location.

A delivery acknowledgement slip will be included with the materials when they are delivered to the location. It will require a signature and will be returned to Receiving for documentation purposes.
