Introduction to Communications Media and Culture is the only required course. You can select the remaining 15 credits from any communications media course offered.

In this minor, you'll learn how to communicate your ideas, your goals, and your story. You'll learn about media marketing and how to produce and evaluate media related to your major. You'll also learn about hands-on media production techniques and media writing. You'll study communication theory and the field's theoretical foundations to better understand why communication is effective, not just how communication is effective.

Classes for this minor can also be used to obtain the Certificate in Audio Production, the Certificate in Photography & Digital Imaging, or the Certificate in Popular Music Studies.
