More than 350 students, faculty, and staff attended the Research Writing Party, co-sponsored by the Jones White Writing Center and the IUP Libraries.

The Research Writing Party, held on October 21 on the second floor of Stabley Library, featured free pizza for all attendees, writing and research-focused games, therapy dogs from Just Paws, prize drawings, and information about various campus services that support writing, research, and literacy. Even Norm, the Crimson Hawk, joined in on the fun!

Many campus units and groups contributed to the success of the party, including the University College, the National Council of Teachers of English student club, the Writing Across the Curriculum program, the Career and Professional Development Center, and graduate students from the MA-TESOL and PhD program in Composition and Applied Linguistics.

Our units look forward to continued collaborative programming to help support student success and our IUP NextGen goals.
