Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW) — Formally established in 1993 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as a regional nonprofit and nongovernmental organization concerned with ensuring that development policies and plans influencing women's health status included women's and gender perspectives. Cofounded by Rita Raj and Rashidah Abdullah, ARROW's vision is for women in Asia and the Pacific to be better able to define and control their lives, particularly in the area of women's health and rights. Since 1993, ARROW has been able to make significant progress toward this vision.

Black Voices: Where African-Americans Live Online — BlackVoices.com is the nation's largest African-American virtual community on the Internet. The site features a variety of lifestyle, career, and community activities, including news, information, entertainment, sports, a full-service career center, special interest clubs, chat rooms, and its popular member photo page.
Essence Online — Essence, the preeminent lifestyle magazine for today's African-American woman. Under the editorial direction of editor-in-chief and senior vice president Susan L. Taylor, the publication enjoys a monthly circulation of one million and a readership of 7.6 million—29 percent of which is male.
Facing History and Ourselves National Foundation, Inc. — Facing History and Ourselves is a national educational and professional development organization whose mission is to engage students of diverse backgrounds in an examination of racism, prejudice, and antisemitism in order to promote the development of a more humane and informed citizenry.
International Gender Studies Resources — This site offers general and specific bibliographies and filmographies on issues pertaining to women and gender in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Arab World, and among minority cultures in North America and Europe. We also offer specific information on courses and resources offered at the University of California at Berkeley as well as links to other interesting resources available on the Web.
Juneteenth.com — This is an extraordinary site, both for its design as well as its content. This site focuses on “Juneteenth,” considered by many to be the oldest known celebration of the end of slavery. It also includes a rich selection of poetry.
LANIC: Latin American Network Information Center — LANIC's primary objective is to facilitate access to Internet-based information on, from, or about Latin America. Our target audience includes people living in Latin America as well as those around the world who have an interest in this region. While many of our resources are designed to facilitate research and academic endeavors, our site has also become an important gateway to Latin America for primary and secondary school teachers and students, private and public sector professionals, and just about anyone looking for information about this important region.

National Urban League — The mission of the National Urban League is to assist African Americans in the achievement of social and economic equality. The Board of Trustees of the National Urban League and all of its affiliates reflect a diverse body of community, government, and corporate leaders. The League implements its mission through advocacy, bridge building, program services, and research.
