Bryna Siegel Finer, Writing Across the Curriculum director, was selected to be the managing assistant editor for the journal, liaising between the assistant editor staff and journal co-editors, creating original supplemental content for the journal, and reviewing article submissions.

Writing Across the Curriculum Director Bryna Siegel Finer was interviewed on the latest episode of the Pedagogue podcast. Siegel Finer talked about teaching basic writing, writing placement, and her book, Writing Program Architecture.

Celebrate National Day on Writing at IUP, Oct. 20

The IUP Writing Across the Curriculum program, Jones White Writing Center, Liberal Studies English program, and IUP-NCTE will host a celebration of the National Day on Writing on October 20, 2020, through all social media platforms. This year’s theme is #WhyIWrite and how writing is meaningful.  

WAC Faculty Workshop: Introduction to Writing to Learn

Join us Thursday, October 1, at 11:00 a.m. for “Introduction to Writing to Learn.” This workshop will show you how to implement quick, low-stakes writing into any classroom to help students improve their writing without increasing your workload.
