For the fifteenth year, the IUP campus will come together to celebrate “Write the Walkway 2026” as part of the annual IUP Day on Writing. All community members are invited to the Oak Grove in front of Stapleton and Fisher on November 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for prizes, treats, activities, and, of course, WRITING!
The IUP Day on Writing celebrates writing in all forms; whether it’s a text message, a few notes jotted on a Post-it, or a published book, we value writing at IUP. Come by for games and information hosted by various university publications, student organizations, writing clubs, and more.
Write the Walkway on the IUP Day on Writing is sponsored by IUP Writing Across the Curriculum, the Kathleen Jones White Writing Center, the Center for Scholarly Communication, IUP Libraries, and the Department of Language, Literature, and Writing.
