The Peer Educator and Engagement Coordinators are making their mark on campus by sparking meaningful conversations in fun, approachable ways. This past week, PEEC held a FLY Friday Pop-Up featuring a Question of the Day focused on community standards and Homecoming.
Students were encouraged to stop by, interact, and share their perspectives on what community standards mean to them, especially during the excitement of Homecoming weekend. The activity not only created space for reflection but also promoted dialogue about how respect, inclusivity, and responsibility contribute to a positive campus culture.
Responses highlighted themes of school pride, accountability, and building welcoming traditions that allow all students to celebrate safely and enjoyably. Many students expressed appreciation for being able to share their voices in a quick, interactive way.
Looking ahead, PEEC will continue to provide engagement opportunities on campus by hosting workshops, coordinating events, and collaborating with other campus partners. The team is also available to work with instructors who would like to incorporate presentations into their classes, providing students with valuable insights on topics such as community standards, wellness, and inclusion.
Through initiatives such as FLY Friday Pop-Ups, workshops, and class presentations, PEEC continues to empower students to engage with one another, build community, and foster a stronger sense of belonging at IUP.
