Free TB Testing

Readings will be done two days after the initial test at the same time and location.  If you do not get the test read within 48 to 72 hours, the testing will need repeated.

The IUP Health Service is located on the ground floor of SOME.The test is free to all IUP students who have paid a wellness fee. 

If receiving the test outside of the denoted times, there will be a $15 charge.

Documentary Screening: “Quarter Life Crisis”

Plagued with anxiety, depression, and suicide, young people today are growing up in a constantly changing world that’s becoming increasingly unadaptable. Quarter Life Crisis searches to discover the causes and dispel the myths of modern society’s hardships, including misguided parenting, endless comparisons of lives over social media, and established institutions no longer guaranteeing happiness and prosperity.

Movie Monday: “Emanuel”

Emanuel is the untold story of the victims and survivors of the Charleston Church shooting that killed nine church members. Directed by Brian Ivie, this 2019 documentary features interviews with survivors and family members and examines the history of race relations in Charleston.

This event is free, and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Discussion to follow the film. Free snacks provided.

Antoine Douaihy, M.D. Associate Professor of Psychiatry University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Director, Addiction Medicine Services Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic will explore the science behind the ways we treat addiction, including medication assisted therapies, and the caveats of medical marijuana.   

Healing Touch: Peer Support for Individuals Touched by Addiction
