To be named a Provost Scholar, students must have earned a minimum of 45 semester hours at IUP with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Provost Scholar recognition is given only once during a student's time of study at IUP.

The Department would also like to send a huge shout-out to our December graduates:

  • MS: Alyssa Bonner, Mario Crocetti, Colin Kytchak, and Reginald Percival
  • PhD: Pamela Hunter, Cynthia Pugh, and Patricia Reed

Bryan Seal, a faculty member in the Department of Safety Sciences, also received his PhD in Administration and Leadership Studies. The title of his dissertation was “Forces Influencing Small-Medium Sized Employer Decisions on Worker Protection.”
