Upon graduation from IUP, Christopher (Blake) Downer '18, became the safety director for Contemporary Electrical Services, Inc. Blake was instrumental in developing their safety program from the ground up.
This video displays Contemporary Electric's program as the leader in coronavirus response during this pandemic. Blake and one of our current co-op students, Nathan McCrea, are featured multiple times in the video (behind masks).
The National Electrical Contractors Association was the only trade in the entire Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia area to be recognized for their safety initiatives taken.
