The faculty and staff in the Department of Safety Sciences celebrated the class of 2020 on Friday, May 8, at 5:00 p.m. with a virtual commencement ceremony.
BS, MS, and PhD graduates were recognized for their hard work and achievements. These graduates had to overcome and persevere through many new and challenging obstacles during their final semester, due to the COVID-19 virus, and we are so proud of them!
The ceremony was held on the day and time the original ceremony was to take place. Graduates, family members, and friends were all invited to attend. Although there will be an official graduation ceremony in September, the department wanted to take this opportunity to honor the graduates on their special day.
