IUP reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment, at which time deposit/registration fees would be refunded. Late registration will be accepted if space is available. College Credit for IUP Students

IUP students who successfully complete the EMT course at IUP are eligible for up to four transfer credits through the department of Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Science. For more information, see the EMT Credit Transfer Agreement.

The EMT Training Program is a ‘clock hour' certificate program. Students who complete an EMT certificate with IUP, may be able to utilize the ‘credit hour' transfer agreement for the four credit-hours.

The certificate program is ineligible for federal financial aid. This means that current undergraduate/graduate students enrolled in a credit-hour degree program cannot utilize the certificate clock hours to meet financial aid (including scholarship) eligibility requirements. Nor will the EMT certificate clock hours be eligible for federal, state or institutional financial aid. Students considering concurrent enrollment in both the EMT certificate and a degree programs should contact the Office of Financial Aid to inquire how this decision may impact their financial aid awards.
