The IUP Institute for Rural Health and Safety is offering an American Heart Association CPR course, BLS for Healthcare Providers. This course includes CPR and airway management techniques for adult, child, and infant patients and use of a bag-valve mask
and AED. Students who successfully complete the course, all practical skills, and a multiple-choice written exam with an 84 percent or higher will obtain an American Heart Association CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers certification card valid for two
years. Fees do not represent income to the American Heart Association.
