I am saddened to inform you of the death of Andrew Michael Vernau, 19, of Houston, Pa., a freshman Criminology major. Andrew died on October 17, 2013.
Funeral services were held earlier this week. The family has suggested that memorial donations can be made to Greenbriar Treatment Center-Lighthouse for Men, 800 Manor Drive, Washington, Pa.
We know that news like this can evoke strong feelings. The best way to cope is to talk to your closest friends, family members, or trusted teachers. There are people among us who have experienced the same or similar events, and they are often more than willing to help others going through difficult circumstances.
