The Strategic Visioning Summit will be the opportunity for you to provide your interests and thoughts and influence what will lay the foundation for our strategic plan. At the summit we will share the draft vision statement and what the StrategicVisioning Team found.

Several faculty members have said that rather than cancel classes to attend, they plan to bring classes to this summit. I not only invite you, the faculty, staff and students, but encourage you to use this as an engaged learning opportunity and participate in the day's events. I am confident that those who participate will find this valuable now and well into the future.

Keynote speaker Dr. Richard Morrill, University of Richmond chancellor, Teagle Foundation past president, and author, will give us his advice on how to collaboratively develop a strategic plan. In small groups you will have a chance to share your ideas on the draft vision and how we move forward together.

The success of IUP's Strategic Visioning depends on having as much of our university community engaged in the process as possible. I hope you will join us!
