You are invited to attend the public meeting of the IUP Council of Trustees on Friday, September 25, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. in Gorell Recital Hall, on the second floor of Sutton Hall.
The meeting will include action on resolutions for naming the Sutton Suites, recognition of professor Sally McCombie as a recipient of a national Teacher Educator of the Year award, and recognition of student athlete Nafee Harris as the NCAA Division II Champion in the long jump.
The Council of Trustees is the principal governing body for the university. This meeting offers an opportunity for all members of the IUP community to learn more about actions taking place that impact all sectors of the university. I hope that you will attend as your schedules permit.
