Rachel Pettiford came to IUP as a graduate student and was unsure if she had made the right decision. But at a town hall for students, she met Malaika Turner, assistant vice president for Student Affairs, and immediately knew she had met someone who would be a guiding force in her career.
Now that Rachel has graduated and is working, that relationship inspires her work with at-risk youth in Pittsburgh.
