With help from faculty and with cooperation from the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, Nick Christensen, a student in IUP's biology graduate program, is studying the effects under-the-road culverts have on the migration patterns of the fish.
“We want to track to see if fish from Population A are actually going up and mixing with Population B to see if we're kind of getting back to normalcy after humans have put a little hitch in nature.”
