Campus Scavenger Hunt

IUP Campus

Student Cooperative

Campus Scavenger Hunt 2020STATIC is hiding goodies all over campus, and it's YOUR job to hunt them down!

Beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, and continuing each day at 5 p.m. until Saturday, September 12, STATIC will release various clues on a different one of its social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok), leading you to a different location on campus to track down some awesome prizes.

Possible prizes include: IUP gear, STATIC gear, Co-op Store gift cards, local Indiana restaurant gift cards, UberEats gift cards, vouchers for future STATIC event tickets, and... something else pretty big!

To play, follow STATIC on all of our social media accounts, and be the first one to track down the prizes above! Then, take a picture or a selfie and send it to STATIC or tag STATIC on a post noting that you found the prize!

Please adhere to all COVID-related precautions required at STATIC events, including mandatory mask usage, careful hand washing and hygiene, and minimum 6-ft social distancing from others.

For more information, check out the STATIC website and the social media pages above.

Collaborative Creativity Board Fall 2020Are you passionate about writing, drawing, poetry, and other creative outlets? Need a way to blow off some steam and express yourself? Have some great ideas for different prompts throughout the Fall 2020 semester? Don’t think anyone’s listening to you?

Share them with STATIC on its semester-long Collaborative Creativity Board, hosted on Google Slides!

The board officially launches at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, and will remain active until the end of the Fall 2020 semester on Friday, December 11.

To submit your pieces of poetry, creative writing, artwork, or responses to various prompts, send them via email to STATIC. Then, STATIC staff will moderate and anonymize each submission (based on your preferences) and then publish to the Google Drive document.

Please keep all comments appropriate and respectful. STATIC, the Student Co-op, and IUP embrace diverse identities and lifestyles, include and welcome everyone at our events, and fight tirelessly for equality and justice. We condemn hatred, bigotry, and ignorance.

PROMPT 1: What advice do you have for our new, first-year students?

For more information, check out the STATIC website, Twitter page, or Instagram page.

Haven Project Events

What Can you do to Turn the Red Zone to Green?

The Red Zone is the time from the beginning of the Fall semester until Thanksgiving break.  It's believed that there are more sexual assaults on U.S. campuses during this time than any other time during the school year (RAINN.org).

Stop by and talk to a member of the Haven Project and learn...

  • How you can end sexual violence
  • How to step up and be an active bystander
  • How to support survivors of violence
