Drop Off Angels’ Wings Gifts

HUB Atrium at the Angel Tree table

Career and Professional Development Center

Unwrapped gifts with the tag secured to the gift with tape can be dropped off at the Angel Tree table. Gifts can also be dropped off in Pratt Hall 302 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on December 2, and from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on December 3.

Angels’ Wings is a holiday gift-giving program created to provide gifts for more than 2,000 children, elderly, and physically/mentally challenged people in the Indiana area. The program is coordinated at IUP by the Office of Service Learning.

By selecting a tag from the angel tree, you can help provide holiday gifts to children or adults in our community who otherwise wouldn’t receive one. Often, the adults who receive the gifts are disabled, veterans, or elderly. The tag will indicate the age and gender of the person, as well as ideas of the gifts that have been wished for. While recipients were asked to list what they’d like as gifts, you aren’t required to get all of the gift ideas. The program’s main goal is to make sure that all recipients have at least one present to open for the holidays.

Are you in a healthy relationship? Stop by the Haven Project’s table and learn about the different aspects of healthy relationships. Pick up information about what resources are offered here at IUP.

Join Health and Wellness Promotion and learn about HIV and AIDS as we raise awareness of World AIDS Day.

The program will include a special guest speaker who will discuss how living with HIV has affected his life.
