Social Equity and Title IX Office
Various events have been planned by the Holocaust Remembrance Committee and will be held throughout the day. A special police training will be take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the IUP Criminal Justice Training Center. Guest speakers will present on "Why is it important to learn about police during the Nazi era?"
Holocaust survivors will be speaking at local schools from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
A Holocaust Survivor Panel will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room. Admission is free, this event is open to all IUP members and the general public, and attendance vouchers will be provided.
In connection with these programs, donations for the IUP Student Food Pantry will be collected until December 1, 2019 in the lobby of Uhler Hall.

The Holocaust Remembrance Committee presents a discussion with Holocaust survivors, part of a more extensive program that day on police during the Nazi era.Throughout the day, we will discuss the experiences of the survivors and other targeted groups, as well as the role both police and ordinary citizens played during the Holocaust as bystanders or murderers.
