What happens when two distinct artistic minds create side-by-side? The University Museum at Indiana University of Pennsylvania invites art lovers, students, and community members to find out during an interactive Artist Talk with local creators Beth Yoe Fiddler and Janice Trusky Clay on Thursday, October 1, at 5:00 p.m./p>
Held in conjunction with their current exhibition, Visio Duplex—Latin for "dual vision"—this event lifts the curtain on how two artists working in adjoining studios in Indiana, PA, translate shared daily conversations into vibrant visual stories. While Clay and Fiddler bring distinct personal styles and techniques to their canvases, their close proximity sparks an ongoing creative dialogue centered on empathy, exuberance, and human connection.
During the talk, Fiddler and Clay will break down their creative processes, share behind-the-scenes stories about their collaboration, and lead an open Q&A session with the audience. Attendees are strongly encouraged to arrive early to explore the gallery, take in the bold colors and intricate details of the show, and form their own impressions before the presentation begins at 5:00 p.m.
