Paintings by Carl Long in Kanabec State Bank

Carl Long ’77 recently completed and installed four watercolor paintings at the newly constructed corporate offices of Kanabec State Bank in Mora, Minn. The four paintings vary in size from 22"x22" to 36"x48" and have the theme of the Four Seasons to complement the bank’s outdoor, northwoods architectural style.

Carl retired from teaching junior and senior high art in 2004 to open his own art studio, where he concentrates in watercolor, stained glass, and art design. Long and his wife, Kerry Luhrs Long ’77, live in Ogilvie, Minn., where Kerry is the music specialist at Trailview Elementary in Mora.
