American Higher Education Alliance, a nonprofit that promotes international education, recently hired Ben Shank ’95 as chief executive officer.
Shank’s accomplishments in his 15 years in higher education have included leading Keiser University’s transition from a commuter campus to an international university. He oversaw the development and coordination of policies and procedures carried
out by more than 3,500 employees at 17 individual campus locations, the establishment and subsequent accreditation of two international campuses, and the creation of strategic global partnerships.
He is also a sought-after speaker and has given presentations at professional education conferences on a range of topics pertaining to global leadership and engagement.
Shank lives in Parkland, Florida, with his wife, Deborah, and children.
