An independent organization that supports
low-income families, the Seattle-based Marguerite Casey Foundation has appointed Jack Thomas D’90 to a four-year term on its board.
Jack is in his seventh year as president of Western Illinois University. He is the second university president to join the foundation’s board.
The Marguerite Casey Foundation is an independent, grant-making organization that supports low-income families raising their voice and organizing for justice, equity, and progress. The foundation works with about 200 community organizations in some of
the poorest regions in the United States.
