Butler County resident Kimberly Miller D’10 recently published her first novel, Picking Daisy, through Pelican Book Group.

Kimberly is a graduate of Grove City High School and Slippery Rock University, where she earned bachelor of science and master of arts degrees in writing. She also received her PhD from IUP and now teaches writing and film studies courses in the Communication and Visual Arts Department at Grove City College.

Picking Daisy is a contemporary Christian romance novel that puts the adage “It’s what’s inside that counts” to the test with characters who seem unlikely to have anything in common and yet need each other to survive.

The book is available through major retailers. Kimberly plans to release a second novel, Forgiving Tess, later this year.
