The certified public accounting firm Brock, Schechter & Polakoff, LLP, is pleased to announce Thomas Grogan ’77 has been named to the board of directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Grogan received his bachelor of science in accounting from IUP and was admitted to partnership in 1987 at Brock, Schechter & Polakoff. Grogan is a certified fraud examiner and a certified financial planner, as well as a member of New York State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He served as chairman for the Accounting and Auditing Committee of the Buffalo Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs. He was a charter member of the Buffalo Sunrise Rotary Club and was a past president. Grogan is a member of the Orchard Park Lions Club, where he also serves on the finance committee. He is treasurer of the Erie Cattaraugus Rail Trail, Inc. Additionally, he is a board member and chair of the Audit Committee for Presbyterian Senior Care.
