Jason Nepa is one of approximately 550 military-affiliated students
at IUP. Originally from Cresson, he is a nutrition/dietetics major and a
student assistant in the Military Resource Center. A member of the Army
since 2002, he has served in Afghanistan, Germany, Iraq, and Guantanamo

In the Citizens’ Ambulance Service photo on
page 20 of the Summer issue, the fourth man from the left in the back
row is Robert Mearns ’72. He was incorrectly identified as Robert
Machinski. The two were roommates during their freshman and sophomore
years, according to Machinski’s wife, Kathryn Baynes Machinski ’73, who
corrected the information.
