Exhibit: Ned Wert, A Retrospective

University Museum, 1st Floor Sutton Hall

This exhibition represents an outstanding 60+ year career as an artist, mentor, and educator. Paintings on display are from the artist’s personal collection and the University Museum’s permanent collection in addition to others generously on loan from private collections. The exhibit will also feature a video interview with the artist.

This exhibit is open Tuesday, January 26–Saturday, March 20, 2021, in the University Museum, located on the first floor of Sutton Hall. The University Museum welcomes visitors during the following hours:

The museum hours are 2:00–5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, with the addition of special Saturday hours of 2:00–5:00 p.m. on March 6, 13, and 20.


Concert: IUP Spring 2021 Wind Ensemble

The Wind Ensemble wil be performing an evening of Chamber Winds  and Flex-Band music for this concert. Our music will have something fr everyone and be an aural representation of our human condition.

Our works will include: Fireworks Fanfare (Brass Only) by Kevin Day, Light (Chamber Winds) by Christopher Marshall, This Cruel Moon (Adaptable/"flex" scoring) by John Mackey and conducted by Casey Williams, Graduate Wind Conducting Student, Washington Grays March arranged for Flex-band by Claudio S. Grafulla and arranged and conducted by Luke Hamilton, Graduate Wind Conducting Student, Ash (Flex Band) by Jennifer Jolley arr. Patrick Dunnigan, and Dancing Fire (Flex Version) by Kevin Day/arr. Trentadue. The ensemble is led by Dr. Tim Paul, Director of Bands.

There will be no live audience. This vent will be streamed on the IUP Department of Music YouTube Channel.
